Welcome to Alethia Farm! We are a small, family, backyard operation. The name Alethia was derived from the Greek word for TRUTH. We chose that name as a constant reminder to strive to live in the truth and to always seek the truth. We became interested in Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats back in 2005 when searching for a dairy goat breed that would be suitable for my daughter Siena, to raise and show as her 4H project. Having been horse breeders for years, we knew that in order to produce quality animals, you have to start with quality animals. After much research into the breed, and communicating with many breeders, we had a good idea what we were looking for. We really gravitated to the refinement, elegance and extreme dairy character of the bloodlines of goats from the Rosasharn Farm in Mass. We purchased our first two doe kids from Algedi Farm in Oregon. They were out of two of Algedi's best Rosasharn does, "CH Rosasharn's UMT Tupelo Honey" and "CH Rosasharn's TL Zenith". Thanks to Penny at Copper Penny Nigerians, Tamera and Kaylee from Algedi Farm, Shannon from Poppy Patch and Anne from Rosasharn Farm, we are well on our way! Please contact us about goats available for sale.
